A: No, effective January 1, 2008, Confederate Reunion Grounds State Historic Site was transferred to the Texas Historical Commission (THC) from Texas Parks and Wildlife Department (TPWD) and is no longer considered a Texas State Park. The State Park Pass and Parklands Passport are statewide passes for parks operated by TPWD. Confederate Reunion Grounds State Historic Site is managed by the THC. A: We offer group camping with the rental of the pavilion. Refer to our overnight camping policies. We do not offer individual camping.

A: Yes, we are interested in working with civic organizations and groups for volunteer projects. Admission and overnight camping fees are waived when the visit includes a worthwhile volunteer project.

A: Yes, overnight camping is offered with the rental of the pavilion. For special groups, such as scouts, living history musters and paddling clubs, overnight camping is offered without the rental of the pavilion. Daily admission fees apply.

Q: Do you participate in the free fishing program? Do you require a fishing permit?
A: We do not participate in the Texas Parks free fishing program. A fishing permit is required when fishing from the banks of the Navasota River and Jack’s Creek at the Confederate Reunion Grounds.
